DECA Project

DECA DAYCARE KIDS

DECA students want to express thanks to all of the students and staff throughout the building that helped create a memorable experience for the DECA Daycare Kids on October 24th!  Over 1/3 of the teachers during 2nd hour classes participated in the Trick or Treating event with the DECA Daycare Kids.  These children were from Ryves Hall and United Childcare.  The DECA chapter will work with these two daycares five different times during the year.  The first time was this fall when the children got to go trick or treating.  The next time was when DECA students brought in items to make Thanksgiving baskets.  The Terre Haute South DECA chapter delivered 19 FULL Thanksgiving baskets over break!  Dr. Rowshandel even got involved topping off the last few baskets. The next time will be at Christmas when you may or may not see a certain assistant principal in a Santa costume!  To round out the year the DECA chapter will make Easter baskets and will have the daycare dome to South for a final Spring carnival.  What a great way to serve the community!!

Trick or Treat
Thank you South!
